Enjoying access to natural play spaces and learning about the environment and sustainability, helps develop your child’s connection to nature and the world around them.Your child will be given the space and opportunities for their physical, personal, social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing to flourish.
Here at Monarch Creche SPROUTS, we believe that nature provides some of the best opportunities for learning. That’s why we’ve created a beautiful garden where children can get their hands dirty and engage in hands-on activities that teach valuable lessons. Through planting, tending, and observing the growth of plants, children learn about responsibility, patience, and the environment. They explore the science of how things grow, the importance of caring for living things, and develop a sense of pride in their work.
The garden also offers endless opportunities for sensory exploration—whether it’s smelling flowers, feeling soil, or observing the colors of the plants—children deepen their understanding of the natural world. This outdoor classroom helps enhance cognitive, motor, and social skills while fostering an appreciation for nature and sustainability.
we believe that developing healthy eating habits early on sets the foundation for a lifetime of wellness. We encourage children to make nutritious choices by introducing them to a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole foods through fun, interactive lessons. Our garden plays a key role in this process, where children have the opportunity to grow their own snacks, such as strawberries, fruits, and other healthy treats.
By tending to the garden and watching their harvest grow, children develop a deeper understanding of where food comes from and the importance of eating fresh, wholesome produce. Mealtimes become a celebration of their efforts, with garden-grown snacks potentially being enjoyed right from the garden to their plates. This hands-on experience fosters excitement about healthy eating, as children explore new tastes, textures, and flavors while building a positive relationship with food.
At Monarch Creche SPROUTS we teach children the importance of recycling though a campus wide recycling initiative where bins can be found throughout the center, and by involving them in the creation of our own compost. Using recycled organic waste like food scraps and yard trimmings, children learn how everyday materials can be repurposed to enrich the garden. Through this hands-on experience, they gain an understanding of recycling, the process of decomposition, and the environmental benefits of composting. This not only supports healthy plant growth but also fosters a sense of responsibility for the planet, helping children connect with nature and develop eco-conscious habits
